Today's Dinosaur: Velociraptor

Velociraptor is a small carnivorous dinosaur that lived in the Cretaceous period. The Velociraptor is classified as a dromaeosaur. Dromaesaurs are a group of deadly bird dinosaurs armed with a lethal scythe claw on each feet.

Swift, energetic, deadly, agile, yet fast; the Velociraptor is clearly my most favourite dinosaur ever in the entire gallery! Armed with sharp sickle claws, the raptor can slash and cleave prey within mere seconds!! Also, the Velociraptor can run and reach speeds up until 64 km/h!!! That’s faster than nearly any dinosaur, competing against ornithomimosaur speed!!!!🦖🦖🦖⚡⚡⚡ (Ornithomimosaurs were the fastest runners to dominate the land, 65 millions of years ago!)

This raptor lived in the Gobi Desert, Mongolia in the Late Cretaceous Period, 70 millions of years ago. The Velociraptor hunted Protoceratops and Psittacosaurus in small packs. The Velociraptor wore a feathery coat covering its body to resist the flamy, hot, and scorching daytime, to the freezing subzero nighttime. That means that the ancestors of the birds were the raptors (dromaesaurs), including the Velociraptor!

The Velociraptor was first founded by Professor Osborn in 1924. Another fossil was founded at 1971, where the specimen contained a Velociraptor fighting against a Protoceratops.

My Holiday Last holiday, I went scouting with my team from DU SMS Pramuka SMAN 3 Bandung. I visited a few locations including Post Museum and Geology Museum. I officially became a permanent member for Scouts extracurricular. My team received badges and a walking bamboo stick as a gift from the Scout Leader. Later on, I went to my grandparents' house in Bandung to visit my big family. I slept over for two days. I played "Minecraft" with my cousins and siblings for the whole day. We built a gigantic Imperial Star Destroyer from "Star Wars" in my game. I also played "Pokemon" for the first time in forever.
